Holiday Halo Hat Class
To Wear or to Gift?
Come spend a Saturday at Gallery Clarendon on November 9, 2019
11:00 am to 5:00 pm
2800 Clarendon Boulevard, Arlington, Virginia
and make yourself this Holiday Halo to celebrate the holidays.
This open hat shape won't crush your hairdo and is custom fit to your headsize.
This hat was inspired by a 1940s movie starring Barbara Stanwyck.
The shape was worn more recently by Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge.
The classic "Dior Rose" trim can also be made into a brooch or decorate a special gift.
In class we will determine your correct hat size, then build the frame
and cover your hat with the fabric you bring.
The silk for the rose along with the pattern and all other materials will be distributed in class.
You don't need to be an expert seamstress.
